How it works

Email documents are automatically extracted and ingested for processing. Original emails are then securely archived as per your specific business rules.

MAP™ strips the email and retains the PDF attachment only.

Any paper-based docs are received by our Canon Business Services (CBS) Technology Centres, where they are physically scanned using our high-speed track scanners, converted to digital format, and ingested by MAP™ for processing.

The MAP™ system alerts CBS operators of any exceptions in the extraction and conversion process.

Cognitive Capture Software (CCS) extracts all required fields or alerts the operator for missing fields, matching to your existing reference data.

The system checks for missing fields, invalid data strings, and structures. If identified, it will move the document.

The next step applies business rules to validate the document against reference data. Any validation errors redirect the document to an exception queue for further validation.

We use your business rules and requirements to base validation in the exceptions management and validation queue.
